This 18th century nutwood baroque cabinet from Austria showcases exquisite inlay works, prominently featuring nutwood. Crafted around 1780, this cabinet stands out for its detailed baroque design and the intricate use of various woods including nut, oak, and plum. The cabinet features wide-opening front doors equipped with their original functional hand-forged locks, highlighted by fine chased ornamentation, particularly on the locking mechanism of the left door wing. Offering ample storage, it is divided into four compartments and is finished with traditional hand-polished shellac, complemented by solid brass knobs and delicate brass details. Stored in perfectly restored condition, this cabinet is both a visually striking piece of baroque furniture and a valuable investment. Its design allows for full disassembly, easing transport and shipping.
