regular price $6,900.00
Subtotal: $6,900.00

This 19th century Biedermeier cherrywood cabinet from Austria, dating around 1825, exemplifies the hallmark features of the era with its clean, straight spruce body veneered in fine cherrywood. The piece is finished with a traditional handpolished shellac that enhances its natural grain and timeless elegance. Notable details include cross-veneered, slightly grooved pilasters and shaped stamp feet which elevate its visual appeal. Its two-door front is characterized by a striking mirror-matched grain. Functionally, the cabinet contains a chromed cloth rail and a small compartment, with a fully working lock complete with an ornate brass key blade. This cabinet stands as a perfectly sized, restored example of early 19th century Biedermeier craftsmanship designed for both beauty and practicality.
