This 19th century Biedermeier chest of drawers from Austria, crafted circa 1825, features cherrywood veneered with a polished finish. The piece displays a straight-shaped design typical of the Biedermeier style, enhanced by a shellac polished surface. It includes three large drawers, each adorned with finely crafted brass fittings. The original locks remain fully functional, demonstrating careful preservation. Despite minor restoration marks that affirm its authenticity and age, this chest remains in good restored condition. Notably, only the chest portion is available, as the top cabinet has been sold separately.
