This 19th century Biedermeier nutwood dining table, crafted circa 1830 in Austria, exemplifies fine woodworking and design. The top displays an intricate star-shaped veneer pattern made from carefully selected nutwood, highlighted by mirror-matched bright fields surrounding the center. Supported by three artistically carved legs attached to a hexagonal central column, the table balances aesthetic appeal with sturdy stability. Its hand-polished shellac finish enhances the natural grain of the nutwood, confirming its period authenticity. Fully restored, this Biedermeier center table remains in excellent condition, showcasing the craftsmanship emblematic of early 19th century Austrian furniture.
