This 19th century nutwood vitrine from Austria stands as a fine example of Biedermeier craftsmanship. Veneered with rich nutwood, it showcases a sophisticated design enriched by thick veneer work. The vitrine includes a three-sided glass case with original mouth blown panels, housing an etagere with five compartments crafted from solid cherrywood, separated by delicately carved columns. Its rear features a large mirror plate, enhancing visual depth. Finished with hand-polished shellac, the display cabinet is complemented by an original locking door. This Biedermeier vitrine remains in restored, good condition, merging both functionality and historic elegance.
