This 19th century wall mirror from Austria exemplifies the Biedermeier style with its walnut veneered surface and original facet cut mirror plate. Crafted around 1825, it features a dense grain walnut veneer over a traditional spruce wood substructure. The mirror’s original glass bears some aging spots and minor scratches consistent with its age, enhancing its vintage appeal without compromising function. The hand-polished shellac finish and veneered edges highlight period craftsmanship. A wooden back and hand-forged ring support secure wall mounting. Despite restoration, it retains its authentic historic character as a striking early 19th century walnut wall mirror.
