regular price $1,400.00
Subtotal: $1,400.00

The 19th century Black Forest rustic wall mirror from Austria, circa 1870, features a distinctive doubled frame with protruding corners, emphasizing its rural, handcarved appeal. This unique mirror showcases a "tree trunk" style carving with three delicate oak leaves perched at the top center within a branch arch, highlighting the craftsmanship of softwood carving. Restored meticulously, the mirror's surface is dark brown, almost black, and protected with matte varnish, while the mirror plate itself was renewed during restoration. This piece embodies the charm and artistry characteristic of Austrian Black Forest design in the late 1800s.
