Subtotal: $1,450.00

This 19th century Black Forest wall mirror from Austria, dating to circa 1890, exemplifies rustic craftsmanship through its hand carved basswood frame. The mirror features intricate carvings mimicking tree branches, with distinct radial corner designs that highlight the artisan's skill. Its surface is stained in a dark brown, nearly black tone, protected with a matte varnish that enhances the natural patterns of the wood. The mirror glass was replaced during a careful restoration, ensuring both clarity and stability. A hand forged ring mounted on the back facilitates easy hanging, combining functionality with the piece’s historical and decorative appeal. This Black Forest wall mirror remains in excellent condition, reflecting the quality of 19th century Austrian artistry.
