This 19th century tramp art wall mirror originates from Austria and features a distinctive rustic design. Crafted around 1890, it showcases a double frame with a dark stained, narrower outer frame carved with unique notch cut details. The frame's corners slightly protrude and are finished in a very dark brown, nearly black matte varnish. Restored to perfect condition, the mirror glass has been renewed and it includes a metal clamp on the back for easy wall mounting. The handcarved basswood construction highlights the detailed craftsmanship typical of tramp art from this period.
