regular price $7,900.00
Subtotal: $7,900.00

This 19th century marquetry chest of drawers, originating from France around 1870, exemplifies transitional style elegance in furniture. The chest is crafted from fine cherrywood featuring four lockable drawers that present detailed marquetry work on both drawer fronts and sides. The distinctive "cube" marquetry creates a unique three-dimensional effect, enhancing the visual appeal. A red and white marble plate tops the chest, bordered by a brass bar that adds a touch of sophistication. Complementing these elements are slender, gracefully shaped legs and polished brass accents. The hand-polished shellac finish further amplifies the chest's refined character. This well-preserved piece is in perfect restored condition, showcasing superb craftsmanship from the late 19th century in France.
