The 20th century Art Nouveau mahogany buffet cabinet from Austria shows excellent craftsmanship typical of the early 1900s. Constructed around 1910, this cabinet features a lower section with two doors decorated with intricate inlaid patterns and two drawers for storage. On the top rests a striking pink-orange marble plate, while behind lies the original facet-cut mirror plate, exhibiting some natural aging and signs of use. The upper portion consists of two glass panel doors with facet-cut glass, suspended on four delicately carved wooden columns further accentuated by polished brass fittings. Behind the doors are smaller compartments veneered in fine bird's eye maple, complemented by a silver-coated floral design on the glass. The combination of polished mahogany, marble, glass, and brass fittings highlights the authentic Art Nouveau style with meticulous attention to detail and decorative flair. This buffet cabinet is a beautifully restored antique representing Vienna's renowned design tradition of the 20th century.
