The set is in excellent condition, except for the following minor wear: Teapot – There is moderate wear to the gilding along the mouth rim and in the white spaces around the “88” designs Sugar bowl – There is moderate wear to the gilding along the rim and to several of the “88” designs. There is significant wear to the gilding on the very top of the finial. Creamer – There is moderate wear to the gilding along the rim. Saucer- Light to moderate wear to the gilding along the rims Teacups – Gilding is mostly intact with a few slightly worn areas along the rim. Two of the cups have a couple of tiny stray spots inside the cup where the gold gilding must have dripped during manufacture, and one small spot where the black glaze dripped. One demitasse cup has a glazed over chip in the black of the rim
